Din barndoms skogar / The forests of your childhood
A videoinstallation where I, the artist, pregnant with my firstborn, tries to walk through a harsly deforestated area near our house – once a deep forest that would have been the forests of your childhood. As the grooves and traces from the forestry machines chattered att devastated the soil, the course had to be veered again and again.

The soundtrack of the installation comes from a LP player in the middle of the room playing the tenth record of the encyclopedic project of Sture Palmér and Jeffery Boswall: The Peterson field guide to the bird songs of Britain and Europe (LP 10 containing the forest birds) released in 1972.
